How long does a typical Lean consulting engagement last?

It depends on the scope. A focused Kaizen Blitz takes 3-5 days. A Value Stream Mapping project runs 2-6 weeks. A full Lean Transformation program requires 6-18 months.

What data do you need from us before starting?

At minimum: production volumes, cycle times for key operations, current OEE or downtime data, defect/scrap rates, and a plant layout. I also need access to the shop floor for direct observation (Gemba).

How do you measure results?

Every engagement starts with defining KPIs and a measurement baseline. Results are measured with before/after data. Typical KPIs include: productivity, lead time, OEE, inventory levels, defect rates, changeover time.

What is the difference between training and consulting?

Training teaches your team the Lean tools and methodology. Consulting means I work alongside your team to apply those tools and achieve specific results. Most engagements combine both.

Do you work on-site or remotely?

Lean consulting requires Gemba — being physically on the shop floor. Most engagement time is on-site. Remote work is used for data analysis, report preparation, and follow-up meetings.

I sign NDAs before every engagement. All client data is strictly confidential. Case studies are anonymized. I never share one client's data with another.

Absolutely. Lean principles scale to any size. In smaller companies, results often come faster because decision chains are shorter and implementation is more agile.

Sustainability is built into the method. I train internal team members, create Standard Work sheets and audit checklists, visual management systems, and Gemba management routines. I schedule 30/60/90 day follow-ups.

I work fluently in English, Italian, and French. All deliverables, training materials, and reports can be produced in any of these three languages.
